We are looking for:
As a Data Scientist, you will work with our team to develop and optimize self-learning algorithms that make automated decisions based on current and historical data in order to optimize our customers' business processes.
Tasks:
- Extraction and validation of insights from large volumes of structured and unstructured data using machine learning techniques
- Confident handling of large, unmanageable amounts of data including their preparation and cleansing, development of clean and intelligent algorithms
- Optimization of solutions in close coordination with the customer, as well as presentation and regular reporting
- Use of pre-trained large-language models (LLMs) to improve tasks such as retrieval augmented generation and entity recognition
Profile:
- You have a degree or relevant professional experience with a technical, scientific or comparable background
- You have a passion for the latest developments in technology and enjoy trying out new solutions
- You have experience in dealing with big data analysis methods and are able to apply different methods to specific issues
- You have a sound knowledge of Python or another programming language, quickly grasp customer requirements, work on tasks in a solution-oriented manner and are a team player
- Very good German or English skills round off your profile
- Knowledge of Linux, experience with CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development and knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) would be desirable

What does SimCog do?
We have developed a B2B SaaS solution for the pharmaceutical industry that enables our customers to run through their marketing, sales and revenue planning using simulation software and AI assistance. This produces revenue forecasts that have an average annual forecast variance of less than 2%. This unique solution is based on AI pattern recognition and an AI predictive analytics model, which we are continuously developing.
